A mallworld training level

I was awoken from this dream early yesterday morning at like 1:30am. I also woke up with the words Candy Bucks in my head.
At some place that was like a training level at mallworld. I was inside this individualized diamond shaped bumper car that had a virtual reality canopy that was showing/projecting video of the desert. We were on this track that had bumper rails even though we were inside. There were windows in this hallway and I could look out and see we were really high up. At least 15 to 20 stories. Over the internal comm system they told us we were training for the desert, but the desert vr images did not look like anywhere on Earth. I was in a 4 man group and one of our team was taken out, but he escaped his pod before it was shutdown so he was still technically "alive". He had jumped onto another pod and was hanging on. They couldn't shut the rest of us off because of a technicality, but a liason tech person came out to try and get him before we entered the next phase of training. Not sure if the liason got him though.
