There is a playable dream now

Something grew out of this community that we want to show you: a small game. A walkable Mall World — the fountain court, the escalators, the food court under its skylight — that you can explore from your browser, no download, at /play.

To be clear about what this place is: the reports come first. This site exists for documenting the real phenomenon, and that does not change. The game is the fun annex — a way to wander a version of the mall while awake, and maybe a way to jog loose details from your own dreams worth writing down.

It is early and it will keep growing, often in directions this community's reports point it. If you visit, come back and tell us what the waking mall gets right — and what it gets wrong. That second list is the interesting one.
